It was a pleasure for Ad Specialty Services to embroider the shirts the new police recruits will wear while they are training at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. Good luck to all of them in their new jobs! 


Savannah Chamber Orientation

New member orientation for the Savannah Chamber was held September 9. It was hosted by The First City Club. Avertising Specialty Services was there to greet new members and teach them how to get the most from their membership.


Volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House

September 16, 2008

Several of us from Advertising Specialty Services cooked dinner for the families at the Ronald McDonald House last week. We cooked ham, green beans, biscuits, fruit salad and cookies. It was a pleasure to be part of such a wonderful and caring organization. Please contact them if you would like to volunteer to cook dinner one night.

 

 

 


Armstrong Scholarship in honor of Janice Gantt

The friends and family of Janice Gantt are commemorating her life with an Educational  Scholarship Fund at Armstrong Atlantic State University. In celebratation of Janice’s September birth month, fund raising members of this group are striving to reach their goal of $18,000 by October 1st. The scholarship will be awarded to a deserving individual in January 2009.

Junior League names new board members

The purpose of the Junior League of Savannah Community Advisory Board is to advise the League on community related issues as well as to act as ambassadors for the Junior League of Savannah to the community at large. The group also serves to select the recipients of the “Kids Who Care” Scholarship where five high school students will be awarded $1000 each toward college. The Community Advisory Board is comprised of 10 members with terms of two years. Two professional consulting members retain continuing seats on the board.
